Windows Story Picks beta • Apple & Android in development

Your photos. Your videos. Your life story. One incredible movie.

Turn thousands of photos and videos into a documentary about your life. Windows v46 includes local media import, AI-assisted scene selection, chapter planning, storyboard editing, rendering, narration and export workflows that have been tested by the developer. Results vary with media and installed dependencies. You approve what belongs in the story. Start with media already on your computer—no iPhone or iCloud account required.

◇ Your originals stay yours∞ Built for large libraries♧ Privacy-first design
Planned launch editions

A lifetime of memories deserves a home.

Proposed one-time launch pricing for Memory Studio. These are not current purchase offers. Final features, platform availability, and pricing will be confirmed before sales open.

Windows v46 status: The development beta passed targeted Windows workflow checks for media import and film editing, including media import, scene selection, chapters, rendering, narration and export. These are initial beta checks, not independent certification or a guarantee for every computer. Optional AI models, FFmpeg and other local dependencies may be needed. Paid license enforcement, automatic streaming publication and released mobile apps are not available.

Development and billing note: All prices and paid-edition feature assignments are proposals only. No public payments are accepted; sandbox licensing and edition restrictions are undergoing testing. Windows v45 is a local development beta with explainable Story Picks and optional on-device BLIP/CLIP visual models; movie production, narration, subtitles and exports depend on local components and continued testing. The older guided-interview and WebM prototype is a separate workflow, not a substitute for the v45 documentary editor. Cloud/API AI features, where available, can require user-supplied credentials and separate costs; Quick Scene Ranking does not. Mac and iOS development builds have compiled but are not released, and Android remains a source beta. Full cross-platform syncing, collaborative family accounts and automatic streaming publication are not available. Free Windows beta copies are arranged manually by email, not through automatic licensing.

Organize

Explore your photographs and videos in chronological order.

Narrate

Record the stories, emotions, and people behind each moment.

Preserve

Build a meaningful, searchable history for future generations.

Prepare for sharing

Explore beta soundtrack and export tools. Streaming submissions require separate distributor approval and are not automatic.

Your memories deserve more than a folder

Not just a slideshow. A story worth watching.

Think of your life as a movie, with places you've been, people you've loved, challenges you've faced and moments you're proud of. Memory Studio is being built to help you turn those memories into a personal documentary you can watch, share and pass down.

▣

Find your favorite moments

Bring photos and videos together, browse them by date, and rediscover the trips, celebrations and milestones you may have forgotten.

✦

Create life chapters

Rank and review scene suggestions, organize your story into chapters, and refine the sequence in an editable storyboard. You decide which memories belong.

♫

Give every chapter its own soundtrack

Find free-music sources, bring in songs you have permission to use, and choose moods for different parts of your story—from uplifting adventures to reflective moments.

◉

Let people hear your voice

Record the stories behind the pictures, keep memorable sounds from your videos and use spoken moments to make your documentary feel personal.

⌖

Remember when and where

Use embedded or corrected capture dates and available GPS information to connect memories across years and places. Optional city lookup sends coordinates to an online location service.

♡

Keep your originals safe

Work from selected local files and keep your original photos and videos untouched. Save your story project separately so you can keep improving it.

Windows v45 development beta: the developer reports the end-to-end movie workflow is working; scene ranking and chapter suggestions are available; optional BLIP/CLIP visual models require a separate on-device download. Story Picks is an editorial aid, not proof that a moment is personally significant. Movie production still requires review, installed dependencies and testing. The music library is a demo, not a licensed commercial soundtrack catalog.

STORY PICKS · WINDOWS v45 BETA

Find the best moments. Keep the final say.

Memory Studio now goes beyond sorting by date. Analyze a batch of photos and videos, compare scene candidates, highlight possible repeats, and build a more varied account of your life. Review every suggestion before adding it to your movie timeline.

How recommendations work · illustrative example

Not just a score—a reason.

Story focus · Travel and places
Signals · Clear image, verified camera date, available city
Editorial hint · Travel and adventures
Action · Preview, approve, skip, or choose an alternate

An example of explanatory fields—not a screenshot or a real recommendation from a user's library.

✦

Three ways to rank

Choose Balanced Story, Life Story Coverage or Best Visuals. Recommendation priorities are editorial rankings—not predictions of emotional importance.

◎

Seven story focuses

Explore your entire life, travel, friends and family, career, milestones, everyday life, or adventures and interests. A focus changes ranking, never hides the rest of the library.

▧

Better photos and video previews

Use image-quality signals and up to five video sample points to help surface a useful opening moment. Original files are not edited.

≋

Less repetition, more life

Warn about possible near-duplicates within plausible events and seek coverage across different years. Every alternative stays available for review.

☑

Preview and approve

See reasons and possible chapter hints, then add individual scenes—or explicitly approve up to 30 recommended picks at once. No silent timeline changes.

◇

Optional on-device visual AI

Install BLIP descriptions or CLIP categories for additional visual context. Quick local ranking works without a model download; any generated labels can be wrong.

Privacy and beta status: Story Picks analyzes selected local media without automatically uploading photos or video frames to an AI service. Optional visual models are downloaded for local use. The separate nearest-city lookup sends GPS coordinates to an external geocoding service when used. All suggested moments and labels require human review. Full end-to-end Windows validation is ongoing.
Getting started

Bring your memories together.

Whether your pictures live on your phone, in iCloud, on your computer or on a drive, here's the simplest way to get them ready for Memory Studio.

◉

iPhone & iCloud Photos

On an iPhone, choose photos from your photo library. For a large iCloud collection, download originals to your computer first or use iCloud for Windows, then open them in the Windows beta.

▤

Android phones

Want to see which files you have?

No files selected.

About Apple sign-in: Signing in with Apple and accessing iCloud Photos are different things. Memory Studio does not currently offer Apple account sign-in or direct website access to an entire iCloud library. Never enter your Apple password into a Memory Studio form. Apple account sign-in may be added after secure account services are ready.

Windows development beta · Story Picks

From a lifetime of media to your own documentary.

Explore the current local Windows toolset, including Story Picks recommendations and earlier documentary-production modules retained in this build. Features are in development; this is not yet a fully tested commercial installer or automatic streaming publication service.

▣MEDIA LIBRARY

Local photo and video import

Work with selected computer folders, USB/SD card transfers and iCloud Photos already downloaded to Windows. No Apple account sign-in is required inside Memory Studio.

⌖TIMELINE & LOCATIONS

Dates, GPS and nearest city

Read embedded capture metadata when available and correct dates or locations. A separate optional online lookup resolves GPS coordinates to nearby city names.

GPS coordinates are sent to an external geocoding service when city lookup is used.
✦STORY PICKS · v45 BETA

Explainable scene recommendations

Rank candidates, preview stronger video moments, spot likely repeats and suggest chapter directions. Every photograph and video remains reviewable; nothing is approved automatically.

◎OPTIONAL LOCAL AI

Visual scene understanding

Optionally install BLIP or CLIP to produce local image descriptions or category hints. The non-model quick-ranking mode requires no AI installation.

▤LIFE STORY

Chapters and cinematic story planning

Build proposed life chapters, generate suggested titles and transitions, and organize approved moments into a narrative you can change.

▦STORYBOARD

Visual editing and scene order

Review your movie storyboard, rearrange scenes and adjust the first cut while retaining creative control. Edits and previews are part of the Windows beta.

♩VOICE & CAPTIONS

Record post-render narration

Use narration workflows after rendering so you know what you want to say. Subtitle and transcription tooling depends on installed optional components and review.

♫AUDIO DIRECTOR

Music and scene pacing

Bring your own permitted music into the local audio workflow, review mood-based suggestions, and adjust soundtrack and narration levels.

Our separate website Music Library is still a demo and does not synchronize automatically.
↗MOVIE PUBLISHING

Trailers, posters, credits and export

Explore beta movie artwork, trailer, credit and video-export tools, then prepare distribution metadata and rights documents for possible submission.

FFmpeg and other local dependencies may be required. Submission packages do not upload or publish to Pluto TV or any other service.
♡SOURCE PROTECTION

Original media stays intact

Scene ranking and editorial selection work from referenced local media rather than deleting or overwriting your original photographs and videos.

Keep your original media and a separate backup of the full project; full automatic project recovery is not yet certified.
One creative workflow

Import → Discover → Approve → Direct → Narrate → Export

Choose local media, approve Story Picks, build chapters, refine the storyboard, render and narrate your movie, and prepare sharing or distribution materials. The finished documentary still needs human review, rights clearance and export testing.

  • Story Picks with ranking styles, story focuses, duplicate hints and explicit scene approval
  • Experimental chapters, storyboards, narration and video rendering tools

New in Windows v46 beta · Built for a lifetime of memories

Analyze your entire photo and video library. Not 200 files at a time.

Memory Studio now offers a continuous, local full-library analysis workflow for people with tens of thousands of photos and videos. Click once, let the software progress through automatic memory-bounded chunks, and return to review the strongest visual candidates across years. Original media stays untouched.

One-click library scan

Automatically move through all indexed photos and videos, with a visible overall progress bar instead of manually starting each 200-file batch.

Pause, resume, and reuse

Save progress to the local project, resume after a restart, skip successful unchanged results, and retry failed files. The process can continue independently of the browser tab while Windows remains awake.

Review cross-year highlights

View up to 120 visually promising, date-spread candidates or browse analyzed pages. Only scenes explicitly approved by the user enter the movie timeline.

Quick scanning reads photo/video previews and ranks technical image quality; it does not understand personal significance. Optional separately installed local BLIP or CLIP models can add imperfect descriptions or categories. A simulated 63,870-item job completed the automatic progression test; a real 63,870-file Windows run and full end-to-end AI performance are not yet certified. Beta access by request; no public payments.

New in Windows v45 beta · Available in all editions

Watch your life story on your television. Keep it private.

Memory Studio now prepares TV-compatible MP4 copies of your finished documentaries for USB or HDMI playback. You can also use Windows wireless display features with compatible hardware, or test temporary paired playback through a television browser on your trusted home network. Your family movie is not automatically uploaded to any public streaming service.

TV-ready MP4

Create a separate H.264/AAC MP4 copy with a 720p or 1080p playback canvas. Original videos and finished renders remain untouched.

USB or HDMI

Copy and verify a private movie to a USB drive, or play it directly from your connected Windows computer. No streaming subscription is required.

Temporary TV pairing

An optional 30-minute local home-network session uses a PIN. This experimental HTTP connection is not encrypted; USB or HDMI is recommended for sensitive family footage.

Windows v45 is a development beta. The private TV workflow passed automated local MP4, USB-copy, and PIN-pairing tests, but has not been validated on every Windows PC, TV browser, Wi-Fi configuration or USB device. Miracast casting needs compatible devices. No native TV app or public OTT publishing integration is available yet.

Windows v45 · Beta reliability work

Your memories are more important than the installer.

Memory Studio v45 retains v44’s opt-in update-integrity checks and large-library indexing work, while adding local private TV playback. A signed Windows installer is being prepared; it is not available yet. The existing Windows beta still launches from the extracted development package, and purchases are not open.

Privacy-first updates

The update checker refuses unsigned manifests and never downloads or runs software automatically. Publisher keys and the update feed have not yet been provisioned.

50,000-file indexing test

A generated collection of 50,000 small valid JPEGs indexed without reported errors in an internal benchmark. Real-device, large-video and full-resolution performance remain unverified.

Offline activation path

Simulated checkout-to-license tests passed; real Stripe sandbox purchase, signed webhook, email delivery and desktop activation remain deployment prerequisites.

New in Windows v45 beta

From your library to a first movie—without getting lost in editing tools.

Start with a guided film plan, review a small chronological shortlist from your own photos and videos, approve exactly what belongs in the timeline, and narrate after you preview your rough cut. The suggested scenes are based on dates, not a claim that software understands the meaning of your memories.

Guided first film

Choose a title, story goal, audience and personal narration prompt. Your brief stays on your computer.

Human-reviewed starter scenes

Quickly shortlist 6–24 moments spread over time. Review the candidates and add only the scenes you choose to your existing movie timeline.

Safer project backups

Back up and verify timeline edits, story notes, databases and saved project narration. Original photos, videos and finished renders require a separate backup.

v45 is a development beta, not a signed retail installer. A 50,000-item metadata-only synthetic benchmark passed; real-world library indexing, Windows machine coverage and cinematic rendering performance are not yet certified. Public payments remain disabled.

Questions

Good stories deserve good answers.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Request the Windows v45 development beta by email at no charge. Copies are arranged manually; there is no automatic download or paid activation. Optional AI components or external API services may have separate installation or usage requirements.

What can Story Picks do in v45?

The current beta includes three scene-ranking styles, seven story focuses, explainable reasons, potential duplicate warnings, better video previews, chapter hints and explicit individual or bulk approval. Ranking priorities are not predictions of personal importance, and all media stays available for manual review.

Does scene selection require a paid AI model?

No. Quick Scene Ranking works locally with technical image, metadata and repetition rules. Optional on-device BLIP or CLIP models can add visual descriptions or category hints after separate installation. Those labels can be wrong and should be reviewed.

Can I download Memory Studio today?

A Windows v45 development beta can be requested by email; it is not a finished commercial installer. Earlier prototype tools for guided interviews and audio mixing are not all integrated into the v45 interface. Mac, iPhone, iPad and Android releases remain in development.

Do I need an iCloud account or an iPhone?

No. Windows supports user-selected local folders, USB or SD storage, Android file transfers and downloaded iCloud Photos. The app does not sign into iCloud on your behalf.

Will my photos be uploaded to the cloud?

Story Picks works with selected local files and does not automatically upload image or video frames for AI scene analysis. If you use nearest-city lookup, GPS coordinates are sent to an external online geocoding service. Optional older API-assisted features can transmit specific user-selected content after authorization; check their notices before use.

Does Memory Studio edit or delete my original files?

The Story Picks analysis and timeline approvals work with references to your local originals and are designed not to overwrite or delete them. Always keep a separate media and project backup while testing beta software.

Can I transfer projects between Windows, Apple and Android?

A portable project format and manual conversion tools are in development. Directly opening every project across platforms and automatic synchronization are not available yet. Do not rely on an untested conversion as your only backup.

Are the $59, $119 and $249 editions available?

No. My Life, Family Legacy and Creator Studio are proposed one-time launch editions. No payments are accepted through this preview site, and sandbox license activation and edition restrictions exist in the v45 beta, but are not yet available as a commercially launched purchase flow.

Can Memory Studio automatically publish to Pluto TV?

No. The Windows beta can assist with movie exports and preparation of rights checklists and submission materials. Acceptance, delivery, rights clearance and publisher or distributor agreements are separate steps; no streaming-platform acceptance is guaranteed.

Can it automatically produce a complete feature-length movie?

Not yet. The Windows beta includes experimental first cuts, chapters, storyboards, narration, music and export workflows. It requires human scene review and editing, suitable source media and separately installed dependencies such as FFmpeg. Full production validation and commercial mastering are still ahead.
